These answers summarise the key policies in the new function pack.
When must the function be confirmed and paid?
All functions must be confirmed and paid in full two weeks before the event. Payment includes the bond, room hire and selected decorative services.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Crest Hotel accepts cash and card payments but does not accept American Express.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations at least two weeks before the event may receive a full refund. Cancellations 8 to 14 days before the event receive a 50% refund, while cancellations within 7 days forfeit all payments. Refunds remain subject to management approval.
Can minors attend a function?
Guests under 18 may attend only through special arrangements and must remain with a legal parent or guardian. Underage drinking will result in the function being closed and the bond forfeited.
Are decorations included?
Yes. Custom-coloured helium balloons and table décor are included. Other decoration ideas must be approved by management in advance.
Are fancy dress events allowed?
Respectful fancy dress events are welcome with prior management approval. All themes and costumes must meet venue standards and the dress code.
