I have been visiting the Crest for well over 10 years and whist not much else to say that has not been said before, a great place for food and drinks but underpinning this, the service level of the staff and management and the banter between us all. My further review today is fast reaction and assistance to put together a charity fundraiser for a long-term patron using the platform of the Hotels trivia/music and advertising. This action is 5 Star and much appreciated.

The Crest Hotel Sylvania is everything you could want in a local spot, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fantastic selection of drinks.The food is just as impressive! Whether you're in for a quick snack or a full meal, the menu has something for everyone.

My local, it's a good but old and dated pub. Food's quite good and they have lots of specials but dinning on those trivia nights (almost every) is really hard, speakers are so loud.

I called in to the Crest hotel for beer today.I found the staff polite and accommodating, today I decided to give there home made chicken pie on a bed of mash and peas with a side of gravy .The pie did not disappoint I give it a solid 9 and the overall dish a 10 a very simple dish and a old favourite of mine.I asked the manager ( Geoff) who made this delicious pie and he said there made here on the premises .Apparently they have a weekly special with pies so I will be looking forward to trying some of the chef’s other flavours I also complimented the chef, and he was very humbled bye my compliment .

Found this pub by accident, what a gem.Meals are a great size and don't break your bank and the mojitos are yum! . . Now everytime we are passing through and it's around dinner time, we now stop in our little favourite pub!Enjoy

Very good veggie burgers. Large portions. Very good quality. Self service. Staff friendly and helpful. Well worth the visit. Vegetarian options available too. Definitely will come back to this restaurant next time.

Pretty good atmosphere, price is reasonable and food is quite good. Plenty of places to sit or stand and caters for large groups too. Watch out for the daily specials featured
